Description
I take a relational approach in all the work that I do and try to focus on what you think will be most helpful. I work from a trauma-informed perspective, ensuring that you are provided education on the effects of trauma, how it might be related to your everyday behaviour patterns, and most importantly, creating a safe, respectful, and empowering environment where you share your story only if and when it feels "right". I am compassionate, expressive and enjoy using humour, as I believe that great healing can take place in a setting where two people are allowed to be themselves.

Summary
I help folks who have experienced trauma or other overwhelming life stressors discover their inner strength and resiliency. I have specialized experience and passion for working with adults, adolescents, and families who have been dealing with life stressors and transitions, difficulties from the past, and big emotions in the present. My therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-informed approaches. I use EMDR, Internal Family Systems, DBT, CBT, and emotion-focused therapies. When you are feeling ready to start this journey, I am here to support you!
