Description

Ricky graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in kinesiology and pursued further education in the chiropody program at the Michener Institute of Education. His clinical experience includes contributing to the care at private clinics, family health teams and a community health centre.

His interest in healthcare stems from his lifelong involvement in sports and physical activity. He was involved in cross country, track and curling in high school and now trains for powerlifting, with many competitions under his belt and many more to come!

Summary

Chiropody is a branch of medical science that involves the assessment, management and prevention of diseases and disorders of the foot and lower limb. Foot injuries and deformities can limit mobility, and affect your health and quality of life.

Chiropodists provide care to a wide range of patients, which include but is not limited to ingrown nails, fungal nails, diabetic foot care, corn and callus removal, warts, wounds, surgeries, orthotics and compression socks.
