Dr. Elaine Kerr Dr. Kerr graduated top of her class from the University of Waterloo Optometry School and joined Dr. Myrfield at the Comox Valley Optometry Clinic in 1991 where became a full partner in 1995. Dr. Kerr has volunteered with Search and Rescue, Bicycle Safety committee and the council of the BC Association of Optometrists. Currently, she is Chair of the BCAO's Public Relations Committee. Dr. Kerr is also the recipient of the 2008 Optometrist of the year award for her long and dedicated service to optometry in B.C. and Canada.

Founded in Alberta in 2008 by a group of independent optometrists, FYidoctors has grown to be Canada's largest doctor-owned and professionally managed eye care provider with over 270 locations nationwide.
