Dr McMahon graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2019. She graduated on the international optometric Beta Sigma Kappa honour list. During her final year of studies, she realized an interest for ocular disease and emergency optometric care. 

Dr McMahon loves going camping with her husband, Vincent and their 2 dogs. She enjoys hiking through Manitoba provincial parks, visiting Disney World, farmers markets and watching movies.
