My counselling philosophy is based on mindfulness meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy. You may find that you behave, think or feel in negative ways. My goal in working with you is to help you develop skills and strategies to shift those negative thoughts, behaviors and emotions into more positive alternatives. The goal is not always to get rid of the negatives, although sometimes it is possible, but more so finding ways to manage them better and to improve your  daily functioning.
