Description
My name is Mike Edwards. I have been a counsellor for over 10 years, working with individuals, couples, families and groups. I take a narrative therapy approach to counselling, meaning that I see people and problems as separate. Seeing people and problems as separate allows us to take new perspectives on problems and in turn have new conversations about your experience of problems. Inevitably, these new perspectives and new conversations about problems leads to new understandings about what these problems have been standing in the way of, and what you would would like to reclaim in your life

The Neighbourhood Resource Centre (NRC) at WestEnd Commons is located in the heart of Winnipeg. The NRC is a community space where everyone is welcome. My office in the NRC is set up to accommodate counselling work with children, young adults, adults and elders. Notably, my office is accessible for people with mobility challenges. The NRC is a smudge friendly space.
